Scar and Baby (DU watch out!)
Ok here are the two new boys (only assuming) I got yesterday. Thier cage reeked to the high hevens. I had to clean it out completely today so I took a few pics while I was doing it. Keep in mind for a size reference, my boot is exactly 12" long. Keep in mind also the 55 gallon is just a temp home until I get my racks ordered.

Good looking snakes, cool to see your kids aren't afraid of them at all!!
Re: Scar and Baby (DU watch out!)
They are both beautiful! I love their blushing! And you have to love little herpers too. I think the picture with your son looking up with so much wonder in his eyes is my favorite. I think it should be a BPOM entree!
Re: Scar and Baby (DU watch out!)
I will put it in. I think I know which pic you are talking about. I don't know though, BPOM is supposed to be about the snake.
Yes my kids are going to be great herpers when they grow up. When we were at the house picking these snakes up my older two kids corrected several husbandry mistakes to the previous owners. That has got to hurt when a 9 & 8 yr old tell you you're doing it wrong. They also correct pet stores and other people we know who have snakes. When we go to pet stores, my kids hang out by the herps and teach the non-hrp people as they walk by. They spent all day today and last night helping me set up cages. They also asked when I was getting this and that done. They want it set up in 5 minutes and wonder why I don't work as fast as they would be working.

the 11th one down should be the BPOM pic! awesome snakes!!!!!
Re: Scar and Baby (DU watch out!)
Yup, 11th one down is the one I thought would be a great BPOM picture. I don't know if the rules allow people in the picture, but his facial expression illustrates the awe and wonderment of herping! Precious picture!
Re: Scar and Baby (DU watch out!)
Oh, and if you can, I'd crop it to be more of just him and the snake! :D

Re: Scar and Baby (DU watch out!)
Just an update on my Scar and Baby. They have both shed since I had them and have each eaten at least one meal. LeSha said that baby hissed at her today, but she said that she always takes Baby out of her cage when she is cleaning or checking things and she didn't take her out that time. She thinks that her movements scared her a little. She is so smart for an 8 year old girl. I told her to stick to her routines because the snakes like that and to move a little slower around her. I hope to pop and probe them all three this weekend. Salina is doing very good too.
