Re: how does 200,000 for a ball sound?
Thats actually a very subjective question. What is worth that to one, may not be to another. I personally could never ever afford to spend that kind of money and would not even if I had it... but they are very pretty and if you can afford one, why not if thats what you want.
Re: how does 200,000 for a ball sound?
Ball pythons have sold for $125,000+ before...and so have other animals. White snakes are rare, can be a great breeding tool, and are a great animal to have in a collection. Like all products and services, ball python prices are based off of supply and demand......high demand and low supply = high prices.
Re: how does 200,000 for a ball sound?
If you bred that snake to a normal this year... you would get all fireballs, which sell for quite a bit. Your 200,000 investment would return quite a lot more than that within your first breeding. So... IMO, yes.. it's worth it. ;)

That snake now has a new owner ... so obviously someone thought so. ;)

very beautiful snake... although i prefer the ones with the ball markings as well as the white... makes me think the snake is tattooed! LOL
Re: how does 200,000 for a ball sound?
Personally.....I prefer solid darker snakes like the super cinny and patternless over the solid white snakes.....one reason I am leaning toward a cinny(and spider) for my next snake purchase....pewters and super cinnies are awesome.
