Highly recommended vets in NYC?

Hey everyone, my question is pretty much in the title. I want to know if any of you know any highly recommended vets in NYC before I decide to try out different places. Also, what is the cost for a regular check-up, fecal test, and a sexing (did i just make that term up?)? I don't have anyone else to ask since most of my friends don't even understand why I purchased a snaked in the first place... >.<

Every vet will charge you differently, but a breeder may not charge you at all for probing. As for a herp vet in NYC, take a spin over to kingsnake.com They have a list of all accredited herp vets. Good luck and tell your friends you can't understand why their parents purchased them either ;)

If I remember correctly our herp vet charges $20.00 for a full exam including weighing, $20.00 for an on the spot fecal and $12.00 for sexing by probe. We are lucky enough to be given a discounted rate by her (I love my vet!) but that's her regular fees as far as I can remember just to give you an idea.
