    Gomez has arrived! Dial-up warning!
Gomez, born 5/14/05 to Mischka and Badgley of Glass Reptiles, is now home safe and sound with his adoptive family. /(^v^)\:hug::love:

The same delivery woman who brought us Falkor arrived with yet another precious package this morning. I fussed a *lot* with the temps in his cage, and still keep checking them, lol. Gomez is very disoriented and a bit chilly from his trip, but is settling in nicely already. He took a minute or two to warm up, and is now exploring every inch of his new home! It was hard to tear myself away! Cleo is sitting on the bed, staring at his enclosure like "Whoa, whats all this then!" He is... SO cute! And a chubby little guy!

Sorry about the fuzziness of the pics, my camera is on crack and has focus problems. First he sat in my hand warming up while I obsessed/fussed over his enclosure temp a bit more. Snakes always dig my watch, lol.

Then I set him in, and he got exploring which he's been doing ever since! I'm a little worried those hides might be a bit big for him, but I'll get him something better soon. The bowl is a hand-me-down from Cleo, and the skull... well, it's just a fancy shed-aid. ;) He seems to think it feels cool, he's been exploring that the most but I couldn't really get good pics through the plastic and I'm trying to let him be... trying REALLY HARD. :P

I am... SO delighted right now. :D Our very first BP, and I love him to bits! Thank you SO much Jamie and Jo!

Our cat is completely wigged too. She has a great view of him exploring from the bed, and is very "OMG! WTF is that??" lol!

Such a cute little thing - lovely to watch him exploring his new home :) It's so hard, isn't it, keeping your hands off them for that settling in period - I sooo hated it I was itching to cuddle.

I've been waiting for his pictures! LOL. He's a very handsome boy! What is the substrate you're using? Desert Snow?

Carefresh Ultra. :) I use it for everybody -the birds, the rabbits, the Gomez- except for Falkor because he's a brat and my cat because... she's a cat. lol /(^v^)\

Must... resist... cuddles.... So cuddly...

Yeah the hides look a bit big, but otherwise it's a nice looking setup, and not too much open space. Congrats on getting him, that just worked out so perfectly. :D

(You could always cut them down the middle and have 4 hides in there, just a thought)

Wow he is a good looking one!! :) I was getting nervous that I hadn't heard from you even though it showed delivered to you. But, I figured you would have called if there was an issue. Glad he is settling in and doing well! Call me if you need anything at all!
