An adult ball python can live in a 30 gallon long tank for it's full life.

Shipping a glass tank is expensive. Your best bet is to buy one at a pet store, or even check out the local thrift stores or a reptile show for used ones.

i picked up a 36 long x 18 wide x 12 deep tank for 40$ used in A1 condition. I just watched the local classifieds.

Check your local craigslist listings too! A friend of a friend who breeds fish sometimes gets some really good sized tanks for cheap or even free off there from people who are just looking to get rid of them.

Or ask your pet store for a "banged" up one. I bought a 20 gallon really cheap because it had a tiny crack in it that didn't allow for proper water holdage. I keep my adult BP in a 35 gallon comfortably.
