Help w/ pythons eyes they turned white!!!!

My son has a baby ball python, and we noticed his eyes were a whitish-blue color, does anyone know why this happened?

sounds like it is getting ready to shed,

it should be getting ready to shed. after a little while of being that color he should go back to normal and then he will shed one or two days later.

It just means he/she is going to shed soon. The blue milky color is just fluid buildup that separates old skin from new skin and is completely normal. You will want to make sure your temps are spot on(82-84 on the cool side and 92-94 on the warm side) and your humidity is around 65-70%.

The snake should shed within the week, and when he/she sheds, if it's not complete, just take a small shoebox sized rubbermaid container with a lid, add about an inch of lukewarm water, add the snake, put the lid on and put the tub into the snake's enclosure on the warm side. Leave it for an hour and then let the snake slither through a rough towel or washcloth. The old skin should just slough right off.
