I use Oregon Scientifc digital thermometers exclusively at my facility. They are "da bomb"! :P

any of the ones you buy from walmart,target,lowes or radio shack will do fine. they will all be accurate to within 1-3 deg. this is accurate enough for most reptile needs.

What's wrong with the Acurites? It shows two temps and humidity all on the same screen, plus will show you mins/max so you can find out how much your temps and humidity are fluctuating.
For my 9.99, they're pretty nifty. I'm using 6 of 'em right now, and I've got 4 more still in packaging that I'm sure i'll be using soon. :)

nothing wrong with them mine just broke (my brother dropped a 10 pound wieght on it while i was cleaning Monty's tank and i need to replace it so i was checking out the market
