Latest Delivery (LOTS OF PICS Dial-up Overload)
Well, as many of you know, I've been building a herp room in my house for the past couple of months or so, and it's finally done... (well.. kinda :) ) and just in time to house my newest delivery.

New Boaphile rack (identical to my other one) that will serve as a quarantine rack for the new girls until I can put both racks in the room.

Cluttered (already) herp room with new rack in it.

Lots of pics of the new girls. (I couldn't get all of them quite yet. They were all very grumpy and very hissy when I took them out of the bags, and as you'll see in some of the pics, 6 of them are in shed, and not wanting anything to do with posing for pics. :) ) Just about all the girls in shed hissed at me.... ungrateful critters! :)

I had all the girls unpacked, weighed, and into their tubs except for the last one. I took her out and she was the smallest of them all... again, in shed... and with a bright pink belly. Reached into the bag to grab her, got hissed at, wasn't anything new... I plopped her on the scale, 124g, and then went to hold her up cause I really wanted a shot of her belly. She wasn't havin any of it! She struck like 4 times repeatedly, and I had to use the snake bag to calm her down and put her in her tub.

I hope to have much better pics of them in a few weeks. There are really a couple of screamer normals in this lot! In the 4th and 5th pics, you can see almost spider or pastel type eyes. And a LOT of blushing for a normal!

    Thanks for looking!

You've got a nice looking group there! Congrats on getting your herp room done too. (I like the green color!) Can't wait to see the pics after all those girls shed. :D

I've seen some pretty gross stuff posted on here, but I'm afraid of what the comparrison photo might make some people's stomachs do. lol Especially those that have purchased/received from you before.

I'll do a quick text explanation though...

Adam's and Ben's boxes were identical... (on the outside :) )
Adam's and Ben's boxes were both styro lined.
I received 4 animals from Adam, each in their own logo'd snake bag with folded paper towels, double knotted, and rubber banded with an ID tag attached to the bag.
I received 10 animals from Ben, 5 in each bag with some newspaper thrown in, and the bag single knotted.
Adam's box had a heat pack securely taped to the bottom of the box with some cotton over it, and the bags laid on top of the cotton.
Ben's box had newspaper between the bottom of the box and the two bags, and two heat packs thrown in there to jingle around as they wished, and as the shipper juggled the box. (I actually cringed when the UPS driver showed up and had the box on it's side bringing it to the door)
Adam's box had a professional photo-id of each animal, genetics guarantee, and invoice all printed out on Photo Glossy paper and put into a "matching" presentation folder including a full feeding history card for each animal.
Ben's box had a carbon copy invoice from his store with "10 lot female BP" and the price down at the bottom.

All that said... Of course Adam's my favorite breeder/shipper... but Ben's reputation on the BOI, and with Adam himself is why I went with him for this 10 lot. With the quality of animals I received, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another 10 lot from him next year... or refer anyone to him. Just quite a difference in the obvious care that Adam puts into his animals and packaging/shipping.

I was about to ask who you got them from, but now I see! Nice looking girls! So you got 10 new girls? And here I am getting giddy over just three! LOL

    Oh, and who is Ben?

well this is my two cents and feel free to ignore me as i don't know the reality of either 'breeders' stock etc.

but... when i get a package and it comes to me, with great care taken i say to myself "wow, if s/he puts THIS much care into the shipping of these animals i can only make the obvious assumption here that their day to day care must be exemplory as well!"

when i get a package which is packed without great care i say to myself, "once they got the cash, these critters no longer meant a whole lot to them... the sale was done."

(not to bash either breeder - not meant that way at all)

but i would like to say here:

adam, it's nice to see these snakes not only matter to you daily - but they obviously matter to you for their entire lives!!! hearing the way you package stuff makes me like you all the more :)

it's the little things that shine... the attention to detail, care that's taken.
