    Midwest Herp Shows
This year I want to attend a few more herp shows in the midwest area. I live in Minnesota and we don't have any shows that I know of...so which shows in the surrounding area are worthwhile? They can be in IA, WI, IL, ND,SD, etc...

    Thanks everyone.

The yearly (October) NARBC show in Chicago is AWESOME. I bought 10 snakes when I went this year.

Lee Watson's Reptile Swap ( http://www.reptileswap.com/ ) is twice a month in streamwood Illinois. It's also very good.

October is pretty far away, I may have to try and drive down to the swap at least once before October. My boss at the LPS where I work said that the Chicago show was "okay" and that there were a lot of pricey snakes. Well he's not a herp guy, and I'm looking for snakes! :) Thanks Shelby.

Well if you think 100+ reptile vendors with 1000s of wonderful animals is 'okay' then, fine. ;)

Generally animals were very fairly priced. All depends on the vendor!

You can check kingsnake.com.. they have a reptile show listing on there somewhere.
