    Age and length?
Hi - I've done a search on this but didn't find what I wanted to know - if there is a special section on how long BPs might be at certain ages - could you let me know - I thought this topic might have come up quite frequently :)

I know they're all different with sizes and all but ours doesn't seem to have grown in length hardly at all (she's 7 months and just 2 feet) but she has plenty of girth on her and is healthy and eats well.

I have heard of a general guide would be 1 inch per month......but that is just a general guide. Every ball python is different and will grow at different rates.

I have a male and female bp that were born two weeks apart in July 2005....one weight around 600 grams....the other weighs around 300 grams...one is around 24 in. the other is around 30 in.

I have two August 2004 bps that are about 400 grams difference in weight also. One is 46 in. the other is only around 36 in.

It all depends on genetics and how well they feed. As long as she is healthy looking, I would not be too concerned about the sizes.

Thanks :) Yes - she's definitely eating well and healthy - guess I'll just have to be patient a bit longer ... not one of my strong points ;)
