    Finally got some baby mealies...
    Just wanted to share....

    If you have an extra tub and feed mealies, give it a shot.....not hard at all and takes up very little space.

    really? you find it easy? i found it a pain in the butt... but now i'm breeding silkies... which is sooo much work so don't listen to me LOL

    I thought it was very easy. I just take out any mealies that pupate and put them in a rubbermaid tub with oatmeal and a slice of potato. Let it sit til' you get mealies.

    What? No pictures? LOL!! ;) Glad to hear you are having such an easy time breeding those little boogers. I'm sure your girls just love em!

    I just have one tub with mealies of all sizes in it. I used to remove the pupae, but I got lazy and I just leave them in there. The beetles are doing fine and there's always baby mealies. Haven't bought any in many months.
