Ovulation?

Two of my females have locked multiple times they both shed one month ago and are now going to shed again. Did I miss ovulation or is this their pre ovulation shed?

The best sign for ovulation is watching for the swelling. They'll look like they ate a huge meal even though they haven't. Also many but not all females may start going off food around the same time.

Some females may lock multiple times and not ovulate.... Or in the case of a girl of mine this year....

You were able to feel around 6or7 bumps in her belly and then she went into shed again and they started getting smaller.

Aside from that... Sthe other behaviors....
Have yours been eating regularly or have they been more hungry?
Have they been hanging on the cool side? Bowl wrapping?
Sometimes they'll lay upside down too....

I have been checking on them looking for an ovulation but haven't seen one yet. The one was on the cool side and bowl wrapping for a couple weeks but is now coiled on Hotspot since she went blue and is still eating. The other one has been on the Hotspot but has been laying inverted a lot and has gone off food for 2 weeks now

Also can they ovulate without tail suck? I thought the one was ovulating but she didn't have the v under her tail or the ridge line on stomach so I just assumed it was building but the second shed without knowing if she ovulated is what's throwing me off

I never really noticed a tail suck, just the bulge on my girls

The 2nd sounds more like she's more likely to be working on eggs to me

I was thinking she was but she was never on the cold side or showed any other signs

I can still feel follicles in both but have not witnessed an ovulation. They are both off food on the Hotspot laying inverted. Also both have been refusing the males they were locking with. The males are still interested though. How long will it take the follicles to be gone if they reabsorb?

They are both deep in shed again but I have still not seen an ovulation. Both are still coiled on the Hotspot. I will palpate them again after they shed to see if they still have follicles
