    Strange Shed
Chimera's never had a shedding problem before, but the other day something weird happened. He had shed in two pieces, but it was all off his body except for on his head. I found this odd because you know, usually they rub it off with their head and make their way down. So I got some warm water and let him soak and made an effort to gently rub the skin off. Well he wasn't having that. So I fed him and he ate and when I came back the newly shed skin from his head was hanging on his hide box. Weird. Should I keep an eye on him for next time and possibly raise the humidity higher than I did?

Sheds are always tougher in the winter when the air in our homes gets cooler and drier. Make sure that there are no drafts around the cage. ;)
