    Does a baby ball Python shed about every 6 weeks by itself naturally even while missing meals and still grow ? Or does the amount of meals it gets trigger it to shed ? More meals = faster sheds ? Only thing I understand is that giving them rats will help they grow faster then being fed mice ..

    Snakes shed to accommodate their growth. So, as long as your snake is growing, it will shed. How often depends on how fast it's growing. Frequency of feeding and size of prey fed will influence it. So will age and genetics. So, it's hard to say how often your baby ball python will shed.

    So your baby ball python is missing meals? Tell me more about that.
