    Avian Prey Items
random but i saw this close up feeding shot of a green anaconda swallowing and it got me thinking - should the claws of avian prey items be clipped prior to feeding? what also about debeaking? i know they consume such things in the wild and so on but of course not everything wild is safe - i feed primarily rats but was curious for future reference

edit: please note i am talking about f/t prey items and not live prey

When I feed f/t chickens to my larger pythons I do clip beaks and toes as they are very sharp.
