Should I get the Flourescent light with the Animal Plastics T3 cage?

After much research and reading the responses and recommendations from many members on this board, I have decided to go with the Animal Plastics T3 Cage in Black with two 8.5" circles cut in top. I do have a couple questions however..

1.) Should I get the flourescent light that goes inside the cage? Does AP do something special to the cage to mount this light? or could I just as easily add one on myself later if I wanted to? plus how are you supposed to turn the light on and off if it's INSIDE the cage?

2.) If I don't get the flourscent light, is a regular incadescent light over the 8.5" screen enough light to light up the entire inside of the cage nicely?

3.) I choose to go with the sliding glass doors because I think they look nicer, is that a good choice or are the swing doors much better and why?
