Question about RIs?

Question... As a paranoid snake Momma, I've been reading a lot about RIs which sound pretty common to all kinds of snakes. How common are they? What causes them? How do you avoid your snakes getting them, if that's possible?

Keep your ball pythons above 80, isolated from potentially sick snakes, and away from drafts and you should never have a problem with RI's.
