Ap rack heat cover?

    Ap rack heat cover?
    I was looking to order an AP rack soon but saw on their YouTube video when assembling the rack, the use a ‘ plastic flexible heat cover’ which slides over the flex watt so the feet of the tub don’t get hung up. Are these dangerous? Isn’t flexwatt suppose to have like 1/8” airflow? Couldn’t these trap heat causing problems? Flexwatt scares me anyway but this seems to specifically go against the manufacturers recommendation

    I think you have a fair point. Flexwatt doesn't scare me, but I have a gap for ventilation. That said, I also doubt Animal Plastics would sell an untested product.
