    question about banana with fire
    hi yall,

I am trying to figure out if fire will diminish the freckling in banana. i havent read it outright yet but all the pictures I see of that combo seems to have less or no freckling.

Also someone told me that the heterozygous condition for Pied will clean up the freckles but im not buying that quite yet haha

    thanks

Fire diminishes them, but doesn't entirely eliminate them. I don't think het Pied does anything with freckles.

So I have a coral glow and a banana.

My banana was sold to me as het Pied. She's typical spotty banana. I haven't seen evidence to prove het pied keeps the spots away. I've seen other het pied bananas with the normal number of spots as well.

    BEL complex will reduce spots.
My coral glow mojave fire doesn't have a spot on her. (unless this last shed gave her a freckle I missed, lol) From the fire banana's I've seen, they can still have spots, but a reduced number. Mojave banana would be the same.
