4x2x2 or 4x2x1 Enclosure?
Shooting to get a PVC enclosure for my female ball python BP when she is probably around seven months or so. I plan on this and closure being her life long enclosure.
Again with the conflicting information about the proper tank size along with the fact that BP is like to be snug do you think 1 foot width is enough or even better for potentially large female?
I was set on getting the larger 4x2x2 but thought I’d reach out for your opinion since this investment is a long-term one.

Either 4x2x2 or 4x2x18. I feel the x12 isn’t high enough.

I'll "second" that ^ ^ ^. Enclosures that are 12" high is just miserable for reaching in to clean, & not enough room for even minimal cage furnishings for snakes to climb (exercise) on. Not like you want a super tall home for a BP, but at LEAST 18" high.

OK great everyone. It seem like a no-brainer to go for the 4x2x2 but the more I’m reading about ball pythons the more articles I read and dated materials out there that are 20 to 75% correct definitely make me doubt myself sometimes.
And if I buy something I wanna spend a couple extra bucks, make it nice and have it be forever.
Also if I ever get another reptile this is an ideal size for a nice stackable situation.
