T8 AP Cages for ball python
Would you say this is big enough height wise, or go with the 18in H instead?

    The T8 is 48x24x12

I prefer 18" high because it's easier to see and reach into the back corners for cleaning.

I agree with the greater height, & for the same reason. I've had a couple HDPE enclosures in the past, & HATED the 12" height; just remember the doors are even smaller, so reaching in was very awkward, & I'm not even the biggest person around.

To give a personal opinion, I'd just go straight to a 48x24x24. Mine is in a 48x24x15 and now that he's matured and is more outgoing the poor guy looks so cramped when he wants to climb. :(

Heavily considering getting an upgrade whenever finances allow.

I was thinking that. Or even 3x2x2 from Forced Cubed Habitats.

    What’s everyone favorite enclosure?

Just keep in mind how chilly your room or home is in winter- the higher the enclosure, the greater the challenge of heating. Everyone finds their own best compromise.

Makes sense. Enclosure is upstairs it gets hotter. The t8 was on sale for $199 so was curious. I want the 4x2x2 with RHP and add uvb. But **** adds up quick. Forced cubed has beautiful pvc enclosures but they are $$$$$.

Skipping the UVB would save some money (up front, and operating costs, and UVB should be metered just like heat so add a Solarmeter), and not give up anything.

I have my BP in a 4 x 2 x 1 and it works pretty well. At the same time, more height would definitely be beneficial for all the reasons mentioned -- access, climbing. Also agree on the heat issue. Also, the T8 is quicker shipping (30 days, if the planets line up) whereas other sizes are normal lead times (18-34 weeks, though many reports say that is pretty optimistic). Tradeoffs.

That’s the issue is I have heard that AP is easily a 16 weeks wait even more. :( There has to be others that are just as good. I would love a 48x24x18.

I haven't used other brands (all my PVC enclosures are AP, and I build my own PVC racks), but personally I think they -- and their company/customer service -- are worth the wait. That's why the wait is so long: demand for a good product. But yes, there are other options if time is a factor.
