    Will a Zilla temperature controller run 2 heating pads at once?
    Below is the unit I'm curious about. It has multiple plugs so surely it's meant for like a rack system or something? Anyways, as long as the wattage of the heat pads add up to less than this units recommended limit, will it work? If so, does it just read what the 1 probe says and turn the pads on/off dependent on what the probe reads, regardless of whether the 2nd pad has reached the set temp or not? I have a Herpstat 6 on the way so it'd only be used this way for a couple days, so just curious.

    I don't use anything like this, but as you noted, it's obviously made to control two- but I would say they MUST also be EQUAL power. Otherwise you'll have one that's too hot or too cold. And yes, obviously the combined power consumption must fall within the safe limit that the controller is intended for.
