    spotted python humidity level
    Hey guys new snake owner I accidently left my humidifier on in my snake room all day and it got up to about 78% I turned it back down to 50% i wanna just confirm that nothing will happen to my snake and also if 50% is a good level to have it at.

    Nothing will happen to your snake and 50% is fine.

    I agree, your snake is fine. Spotted pythons are a more coastal species, as I understand it- but that said, I don't do any special humidity for mine- I live in a fairly humid climate anyway, & I DO provide a humid hide for my spotted python, & she loves that -she also NEEDS it for good sheds.

    Yes, Spotted Pythons are generally a coastal (northeastern Australia), tropical/sub-tropical species. They seem do best when kept between 45-65% relative humidity, with humid hides spiking up to 80-85% humidity.
