Venom - IMG Motley Progression Thread

Please welcome the newest addition to my collection. Venom (named by my son) is a male IMG Motley BCI produced by John Chausmer. He’s the 2nd BCI that I’ve picked up from John. He took down his 1st adult mouse last night and is resting peacefully in his hide.

Seriously, if I got another Boa, I'd probably want an IMG Motley or Hypo Motley. That guy is going to be sick looking when he gets older.

Me too! :love: The deep dark mysterious boas are my favorites- & he already looks amazing. And you can't scare me off with a name like Venom, lol.

Well.......I wasn't sure which direction I was going to go but after visiting a local show and seeing an Adult IMG and the amazing iridescence, I was hooked! It's going to be fun watching the changes each shed. Thanks for the comments Dave!

Posting a little update after Venom’s 1st shed. It’s been a lot of fun sharing this little guy with my kids. He’s super curious and very docile when handled (minus the some ‘loud huffing’ when he was deep in shed). I’ve heard of this before but never witnessed it with my other two snakes. Can’t say I blame him. As always, the camera never seems to capture their beauty. The iridescence on this guy is incredible and I can’t wait to get him outside in the sun.
