    Quarantine Setup for Boa
Quick question on setup of a quarantine enclosure for a young BOA. I was going to use Sterilite 6 QT container as I did with my 1st BOA but I've misplaced my HerpStat Thermostat Probes to regulate my temps. I have a pair of probes secured to an old 24 x 12 x 12 PVC enclosure w/ sliding glass doors that I could rip off or just use this enclosure as my quarantine setup.

I don't think the PVC enclosure would be too big for a BOA (maybe a BP where size matters). Also, I'll be interacting w/ the young BOA from the front rather the top due to the sliding glass doors. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Both the Sterilite 6 QT container and the PVC enclosure are using Ultratherm heat mats.

I would just use the enclosure as a quarantine setup, should be fine. Also I prefer front versus top-opening enclosures for boas, not so much for getting them out, but for putting them back it's easier to let them climb up and crawl into into a front opening enclosure than to try to push them down into one.

Appreciate the response. I'm probably overthinking it but just wanted to be prepared before I pull the trigger on my next BOA.
