    Tortie Snacks
I know fruit in moderation (ie-once a week), but my tort loves:

clementines (1/4 of one of those slices)
    apples
    1/4 of a grape
    pumpkin

    anyone else do special snacks?

Fruit is fine, just stay away from the really acidic stuff (oranges, apples, think:tree fruit)

Any kind of fruit that grows on the ground is alright in moderation.

I think you are meaning citrus fruits. Apples are not acidic in any way and are fine, as he said, in moderation. Apples, bananas, pears, plums, peaches, kiwi, and really anything that isn't citrus should be alright(although I don't really know where your specific tortoise comes from, so citrus may be in its diet).

Well anyway, you're always welcome to PM Rusty_Reptiles as she keeps tortoises(I believe) and she can let you know what their diet consists of. :)
