    I thought switching from mice to rats would be a lot harder.
    I tried my hand at switching 2 of the three BP’s I have to rat pups and to my surprise everything went smoothly. The one I didn’t switch was already on them. I guess I’ve just read so much about them refusing rats when they’re mouse fed that I though of all the refusals etc that I’ve read about, honestly I’m just glad it wasn’t a nightmare.

    That's great news, congrats! I also got lucky with my BP, he switched from mice to rats with no issues and he will eat anything I throw in there - I've fed him quail and ASF too and he will take anything I offer him and switch between different types of food with no problems.

    It's great when they aren't fussy. You only ever hear about it when there are issues or the snake refuses to eat.:)
