    Surprise!
Yesterday, I was handling Monty and thought his skin seemed loose. I began to worry he was dehydrated, although he has been eating well, and has fresh water daily. I did have a problem with my humidifier set-up (a kinked hose) and the humidity had dropped very low (40%) while I was at work. I fixed the set up, misted the cage to give it an immediate boost, and put him back. Today was feeding day, and lo and behold, there was a shed skin in the cool hide! It was a complete shed, although it was about 6 or 7 pieces insead of one complete piece. Despite having just shed, he still took is f/t hopper. Needless to say, I am very relived!
