Breeding question

How long should I keep the male in the females tub before I separate? I have been trying to pair a Mojave male to a proven Butter Bee (was told she was when I bought her)
I Male caramel to 2 100% het for caramel proven Females (told they where when I bought hem.
Been trying for 2 months Put them together about 4 times in 2 months kept them together for 1 day never a lock neither ones show interest.
Should I keep them together longer or just take them out after a day and try again in a week?

You should keep them on a 3 days on 3 days off schedule. You should aim for 1 lock per female per month

Also, step up your feedings to the females. Make sure to offer to your males as well. Once they get going locking with the females some males will go off food. The females will be looking to build up so will require extra nutrition.

1-3 days depending on if you witness a lock or not. If I see a lock, I'll remove the male once he is off. If I don't see a lock, I'll pull him in 3 days. I'll offer him food and give him at least 3 days to recover before pairing him again but if you only have 1-2 females to put him to I would give him longer between. No sense in putting him over and over with the same female too frequently. If I get a lock I won't put him back with that same female that month. If I don't I'll try one or two times more that month with her max.

That my problem they just will not lock. Guess I just need to keep trying

May finally have a lock it is hard to tell and I don't want to disturb them to get a closer look

Yeah, that’s either a confirmed lock or a imminent lock. No need to disturb them but if you must open the tub just pull it out slowly and carefully.Use the same caution pushing the tub back in place.
