    It pushing 3 months since he last ate been offering him a rat each week except when he’s sheading he finished sheading on 3/18/22 this is the first hunger strike I have seen/dealt with that’s pushing 3 months his weight is 3.13 lbs or 1419.744 grams I am a bit concerned I know he’s at a decent weight my question is when do I start being really concerned with his weight when he’s close to 2lbs/907grams ?

    Seems like he’s around that classic wall when ball pythons just seem to go into “not hungry” mode. A great time for us as keepers to dial in th our husbandry and tweak any issues. If a python is ill or injured and otherwise not feeling well they won’t feed. Monitor him closely as he refuses. He may also be in “ I need a girlfriend “ breeding mode.

    There’s this reddish pink he finish sheading on the 18 th I know there’s going to be some pink after sheading I have never seen it this area before out of the 2 years I had him
    Just put in a different bedding in I have fake vines for it unfortunately the section cups for it are not wanting to stay on well especially when he reaches for the top area of the terrarium
    I had a female snake he showed no interest she at a new home
