    An interesting article on PETA
Just thought I would post a link to this article. I think too many youngsters think PETA is all about helping animals, when in fact a very small percentage of their donations go to help animals at all. Anyway it's a bit lengthy, but I thought it was well worth the read.

    *barf*

PETA makes me sick. I read somewhere that they 'rescue' about 1000 dogs/cats a year.. and euthanize them all! They don't love animals, they hate humans!

EDIT: oh it says right there they killed more than 1900 animals in 2003! 85% of the animals they recieved.

Peta is psycho. Anytime a fellow animal lover I might be chatting with gets to quoting them, I back away slowly. Huge red flag. Weren't they trying to convince people to turn their cats vegan at some point? They're nuts, and completely irrational.

Yep, they actually have vegetarian dog and cat food now... I could have screamed... Cats and dogs are CARNIVOROUS/OMNIVOROUS and are meant to have a diet consisting of meat as well as vegetable items the prey-item ate. They need the whole animal, or a food that closely mimics that, to survive and be healthy. People who feed their dogs and cats the BARF diet don't really have much of a clue sometimes. Chicken necks and other meaty pieces are not going to cut it. A carnivorous animal needs the entire animal to get a complete diet, and that includes the innards containing what the prey-item ate(why I said omnivorous). Yay for Science Diet!

UGH... Yep... hate PETA... I'd rather see an animal spend the last 2-3 weeks of his life in a clean, warm shelter being fed than be "rescued" by PETA. They just sicken me.

There is so many better things that people could do with their time....

I will eat meat, hunt, fish, and keep animals as pets.....if anyone ever tries to take those rights from me, I will fight it to the death.
