Spider Alternative

Here is what I think is a great spider alternative for those who don't want to deal with the spider gene for it's known issues but like how the spider pattern looks visually. Some of these morphs look a lot like spider or more specifically spinner. Obviously these genes wont behave the same as spider or always look similar to spider since there are specific variations but i think they are very a similar look. I think the key is combining enchi plus pinstripe. Below are a few examples.

Thank you! Very nice alternatives for sure. Just seems to be a small distinction in losing the head and lateral scale white blushing coloration that you find in the spider gene

I'm really happy to see BP-breeders moving in another direction to achieve the beauty without the issues. :gj: IMO- No pretty pattern or coloration is worth it if you're also perpetuating genetic problems.

I don't think there's a problem with breeding spiders but I respect that lots of people want to avoid it. These combos aren't as good as spider but I'm impressed at how close they are. I like that this provides a good alternative for spider morphs while still keeping very similar patterns.

Wonder if adding calico would bring in that white along the side.

Calico for the win! Amazing.

Since Calico seems to add to the alternative so nicely. Sugar gene may also help with the whitening coloration / blushing. Definitely didn’t think of either gene before now. Cool.

Yoo, that Calico Enchi Lemonblast. I would love one of those.

What is the difference between calico and sugar? They remind me of coral glow/banana. Are they different lines of the same gene?
