Lacey Act and Morph Market, how does it work?
I am relatively new to the hobby and I am learning more as I go. I am gathering bits of information on this Lacey Act and want to know more information on certain things such as how does this work with Morph Market if people buy and ship reptiles all the time?

Also if I am understanding the law correctly does this mean I cannot move out of state with my reptiles? (Boa constrictors, ball python and maybe one day a Burmese python)

this all seems kind of confusing and I am doing my research, I am just trying to get a better understanding of things so I can be a good citizen of the hobby. I figure a lot of people on here would be well versed in this topic.

    Thanks

Here's the ship your reptiles rundown on it:

Moving interstate is going to depend on local laws I believe.

@ greg.s- by all means check your state laws for where you intend on going- they're not all the same, that would just be too easy. ;)

    For sure.

But keep in mind that wherever you move, there may be more than just state laws- also city-county-local laws are in effect in some places.

There are towns that ban snakes over a certain length (etc), just as there are towns that ban pit bull canines. And if you're a renter- you have my sympathy!
