    Snake calendar
Had a really nice snake calendar from a family member for Christmas, great pics inside including some nice boas.
The quotation on the front made me double take tho[emoji22][emoji22]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d6d9c93974.jpg

That seems like a horrible quote for that calendar. At least it has good pictures though

I thought it was random for someone who must enjoy taking snake pics [emoji848][emoji848]

Probably wasn't the photographer who put the calendar together though

That quote is odd for a calendar of snake pictures. I can't imagine the intended market for the calendar was people that hate snakes. Why would someone that hates snakes buy a calendar full of snake pictures? The quote's grammar is bad enough that I wonder if the person quoted meant to say something else.

OMG! The thread title made me think "hey, I would so buy this calendar" but never one that says THAT on the front! Who does it support? I shudder to think...:O

The quote came from Ross Perot, who was a businessman and politician. So the quote was likely not intended to have anything to do with physical snakes, just deceitful people. This makes me think that the calendar was from a company that mass produced calendars. There are a lot of instances where quotes are automatically assigned to a picture or article with computer programs. So, I would bet that the calendar had that quote automatically assigned to it from a pool of quotes or it was from someone who just randomly assigned the quote to the calendar without thinking about it.

I ordered that exact calendar yesterday and somehow didn't notice that on the listing. :weirdface

To echo what Ernie said, there were several selections of snake-themed calendars that all seemed to be made from the same origin (even if the company names were different). So I'd wager Ernie's right on the automated text gone wrong theory.

My calendar arrived today and it doesn't have that quote on it. Strange.
