    Heat Tape Probe Question
Hi, I’m here with what is probably a dumb question. I put heat tape on the bottom of my girl’s new enclosure. What kind of tape should I use to make sure the thermostat probe is on the heat tape. I have aluminum tape and duct tape. Im not sure I have electrical tape, but I don’t mind getting some to do this right. Sorry if this should be obvious. I’ve tried watching a few videos and they don’t address this.

    Thanks, All!

I'd use the aluminum tape you have. Just make sure you're following the sticky about proper probe placement. It should be on the outside with the heat tape but it should go enclosure, probe, heat tape so you can make sure it doesn't get too high of temperatures.
