    Before/after pictures?
Anyone have any baby vs adult pictures of their carpets? I like seeing how they change. I did look through some progression threads but would be curious to see if anyone has any more pictures than what I’ve already seen. Thank you!

I picked her up when she was about a year old at an expo in 2014.

She was billed as a coastal carpet, and I believe she was partly, that but also likely mixed with other carpet genes.

She was a picky eater always and grew slowly. Later in her life she put on a lot of size, and hit 8 feet and maybe a little more.

Sadly she passed last summer for unknown reasons at just over 8 years old.

    I loved everything about here.

This is the animal I purchased to fill the void.
She's a Brisbane, locality coastal carpet python at roughly the same age at the time of purchase as the first one.

This locality is said to be the largest of the Coastal Carpets and she should reach and likely exceed the size of the previous Coasty.

Mike Pennell is the breeder and an all around great guy.

I also have a male Bredli that I purchased from Nick Mutton.
    Day one here.

He's growing fast and this is his most recent photo at least when he's stretched out.

Hopefully that gives you a glimpse of what a pencil sized baby can grow up to be.

Not fresh hatched baby pics or full grown adult yet. About 1.5yrs and a little small for the age and currently 3.5yrs taken ten minutes ago. 2018 Brisbane locality coastal carpet produced by Nick Mutton. About 5’ currently. Fun to watch them grow into their disproportionately large eyeballs they have as babies

Mind you I feed rather on the light side and don’t feed for 2-3months during the winter when I temp cycle my room. Some will be bigger or smaller at this age depending on feeding, background genetics, etc. I’ve got other carpets too, just not great pics at the moment. Very hard to photograph as a lone individual

These are all beautiful! I especially love that bredli, I considered getting one but I have a limited number of snakes I want to get and jungles were the ones I originally fell in love with.
