How often is too often to poop?
I have a 5 mo male BP who for the past few weeks has been pooping 2x a week. He has always been feed rats right in the middle of the recommended 10-15% body weight ratio. He seems overall healthy to me with a perfect shed maybe 3 weeks ago. I feed him every 7 days. Any thoughts?

Pooping too much doesn't seem particularly worrisome. Give us a short description of your snake's enclosure including temperatures and humidity. Add a pic of your snake in its enclosure and we will be better able to assist you.

Does his stool appear unusual in any way? (any blood, mucus or odd colors? texture seem odd?) Or smell especially bad? If so, a stool check by the vet might be in order, but otherwise probably not needed if his waste appears & smells normal, & especially if his home temps. are on the warm side. Intestinal parasites can certainly speed up digestion though- just something to keep in mind, especially if he was fed live rodents or freshly-killed ones, ever. (they can carry & share parasites).

For a baby this isn't too odd, however everything is about the smell. I end up sniffing a lot of snake poop, you can tell if something isn't right real quick that way, but if you have not been around snakes a lot you may not be able to tell. Post a pic and it will be easier to see what is going on.
