Are rough surfaces safe for BP's?
Hello everyone, i am back with another question. Long time ago i noticed i felt some rough scales on my BP, like under his chin, belly and on his back. They just felt uncomfortable to touch, but i couldn't notice any problem when i'd go to see the place that felt rough, the rough points are so tiny that are very hardly visible, should i worry? Could those be scars? I had and still have a log in the tub, so could the rough surface of the wood be the cause of some rough scales, and is it nothing to worry about?

Not sure about what you may be feeling on your snake, but rough surfaces, as long as not sharp, should be fine for your little dude.
I use cork bark in all my enclosures which I see the snakes on very often. It can also help them to start their shed if stubbornly sticking to them.
