i have had my bp for about 5 months now and she has only shed once, about 2 months ago. she is getting ready to shed again now. i was just wondering if she is not shedding enough or what. she is about 9 months old https://ball-pythons.net/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif

perfectly normal...ball python shed when the 'outgrow' their old skin.....so their shedding rate is directly related to their growth....if your ball python is shedding frequently, then it is probably growing rapidly...if it is shedding less frequently, it probably is not growing rapidly...

My ball pythons generally shed every 1 to 2.5 months depending on how they are growing....the younger ones shed each month while the older ones shed less frequently...

I hope that answers all your questions and welcome to the site:)
