    Are they tickilish?
Are ball pythons tickilish (sp?)? Whenever I'm not going to be handling Kashmire, but I have to move his hides around and uncover him for cleaning or misting, I'll lightly run my finger and fingernail on either side of his body around his coils. His whole body contorts along with the movement of my finger, but he won't move. He seems to enjoy the interaction, but it's like he's doing a snakey belly dance. It's very cute!

I'm not sure that I would call them "ticklish"....there's probably a some very different physiology going on there between them and us reacting to that kind of stimulus. I would think that their reaction to being "tickled" is one of them trying to back away from whatever it is that is touching them, so obivously not a positive reaction.

Our little one (now 8 months) does a kind of involuntary "ooh that tickles" movement when I run my fingers along certain parts of her sides. She doesn't try to get away though - she just sits there and lets me carry on :)
