CWD Enclosure too big for Indoor
Well... I finally took delivery of my new enclosure but I have encountered a huge problem. And it was my mistake!
When builder asked for measurements I was near the front door of house and measured there.
Well turns out all the room's door's are 7" less wide and I never realized!!!
So I can't bring the enclosure in the house!!! Won't fit anywhere!
Best thing I can do is either keep the enclosure outside or sell the enclosure [emoji17]
I cant return it since it was custom made by the builder.
The thing is I am not sure if I could keep my water dragon outside.
He is 2 years old about getting to a growth spur.
I live in central CA Bakerafield area.
I would say it's fairly hot here. In the winter night temps will drop to about 25° coldest and that will probably happen in the coldest night ever so maybe once around January.
Right now nights are 50°-40°
Days are 80°-90° soon to be 60°-70°.
There are also fish in there. Like 4 basking spots.

That big rock up high makes me nervous too.
Yes it was build this way on purpose. Don't worry none of the rocks are heavy. That one up there is probably 2 pounds haha they must be hollow

But if it fits in your front door, why not keep it in the main part of the house? The temps are about right for cwd. They are hardy for cold as well. It gets much colder in a chinese rainforest. It basks in the daytime to its optimum temps of course.
Also, I cant keep it inside as it is my parents home. They don't want it in there [emoji17]

Our house is pretty much surrounded by a porchse. You can probably fit 12 worth of shade in it. It's like a side yard and backyards porsche. No way for sun to hit as sun only faces front of house. But still concerned... dang
