    Hard? Hurt?

    That's a very subjective call if you meant hurt - everyoen has different thresholds of pain etc. Less painful than a stick to your finger for a blood sample IMO.

    hey i have a corn snake and he is always in his hidebox. He rarly comes out but he eats fine and always sheds in 1 piece. I don't disturb him alot and when i hold him he is always fine and hes never tried to bite me. Why is he never coming out?

    Not really. It's much more of a pin@@@@@ and the realization that you've been bitten. They generally break the skin, but not much more than that. Having a cat "play bite" on a hand hurts a lot more.
