heating and child locks for rack
Anyone try these for each tub?
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...BXQANSUZ&psc=1

Looking at housing for my first future ball pythons and considering using these to keep children out and snakes in. I am also concerned about adequate heating with just 4 inch heat tape. The rack would be in a room we use as a family closet so heating or locking the entire room is not a good option. I was looking at Cserpents 3tub V70 but wondering if there is a rack system that has wider than 4 inch or place for two strips of heat tape to create more warmth. Current room temp is 73F. Also I am not very comfortable with diy electrical stuff yet and don't want the tub to rub the tape which is why I was looking at Cserpents. I feel like there should be a company that has this option for people with non-heated rooms but don't know how to look. Any leads? Thanks!

    Yes

I would look for a rack with wider heat tape if the rack will be in a cool room.

To secure the tubs I would attach an electric conduit fitting/clamp to the top and bottom of the rack, and run a long cable lock between them.
