My new ball python is actually weird
So I got my ball python about three weeks ago and he's taken all the food I've offered him so far (I've fed him three times) and my temps seem fine and from what I can tell he's happy and healthy but he's always cruising around his tank during the day but he sleeps at night which I found weird because they're supposed to be nocturnal right?

Unless you're up all night (which I doubt) it's very possible he's sneaking around when you're not looking. He's still new, so his daytime activity is pretty normal- it's because he's somewhat stressed* from being in a new place, but don't worry, *apparently he's adjusting pretty well, since he's eating. And he might be sleeping more at night just because his daytime activity is tiring him out. In time he should calm down more.

Trust me when I say this; enjoy his more active movements while you can. ;)

Not a hard and fast rule, but generally once BPs settle down, they don't move much in any capacity unless a meal's on offer (and even then...).
