    Regurg or poop?
I am so sorry if this is the wrong spot for this, this is only my second ever thread here. Fed my ball python 3 days ago. He's 495 grams, and it was a rat pup that weighed in at 45 grams. Temps 92.1 on hot spot and 81 ambient. He's on cypress mulch with a humidity of 66%. Some mulch is in with the poop ( or regurg) Ideas? Thanks so much. I am almost certain it's just a massive dump cause he hasn't really pooped in like 3-4 weeks but still...
Dunno why it won't show pic but pic here.

The pic is blurry on my phone. A regurg SMELLS like death and you should easily see that it's a partially digested rodent. From the pic I'm going with a turd. A turd is a turd and if you squish it it should be easy to see what it is.

I had this little BP regurg before actually and I squished the pile and it gave way easy. There's also no white, no fur, and it didn't have that acrid death smell you're talking about. I guess I just worried because man bro, that was a monster poop for a 500 gram BP (from my limited experience.) Thanks a ton for the confirmation sir. Have a great evening.

My own BP is around the size of yours. Trust me, when they go, they can go sometimes. The biggest piles always seem to be right after a shed too as far as he's concerned.

You know the funniest thing? I lifted a hide to check on my boy, and he's in the blue! Maybe the shed triggered a poop? Thanks for your input.

I agree with KMG- looks like feces to me also. Regurgitated rodents smell so bad it makes us want to hurl too- so if this didn't do that, it's stool.

Snakes often conserve water by not going after every meal- they save it up until they really need to take a dump.

Sometimes snakes let loose inside their old skin, while they're removing the shed (talk about "neatness", lol); this is because the old skin apparently feels a little tight & the motion needed to shed their skin seems to "inspire" the release of stool. Your guy couldn't quite wait that long to go. Maybe next time? :D
