When is the earliest you can cut an egg?
I have a 37 day old egg that got a hole in it. Even though I was able to fix the hole and it is plumping back up, some pink spots have begun to develop. I did use the anti fungal powder ( can’t think of the name of it rn[emoji38]). However if the mold continues to develop I am thinking it may be better off not sitting in the egg with all that bacteria. I have heard people cutting eggs as early as day 45 for this same reason, but that seems really early.

Just keep monitoring it, if it stays looking good then leave it until day 55

That makes sense. I’ve just heard of people cutting it early on purpose in cases of mold. I didn’t know if it maybe encourages them to absorb their yoke earlier or something.
