Herpstat 2 question..

Figure this is a good place to start not sure where I should post this

Is it possible to dim or turn off the display light on a Herpstat 2? Currently my snakes are in my bedroom and the display panel on the Herpstat is like having a night light... If it is possible, point me in the right direction on how..

System setup. You should be able to dim it to 30% but that’s as low as it will go on my Herpstat 4 at least.

I have a few things around my bedroom like that, and I cut a piece of cardboard to fit over the display and then either tape it like a "hinge" at the top, or velcro it down. The tape lets the cardboard lay a little flatter.

Electrical tape, cheap an will blackout light.
