Scabs/bumps on ball pythons heads
I have about 16 adult ball pythons. I had purchased one that had a lump/scab on the middle of her head(didn't realize until after). It was crusty looking, and looked bad. After about 4 months and a shed she's perfectly fine and there is no more scab, completely flat. However, since then 4 of my other snakes have gotten it. All crusty looking scabs in the middle of their nose at the same place. At first I had thought it was from feeding live and possible scratching from the rats, however I've had a snake that was off feed for a bit and she has it too. It's too far back on the nose for nose rubbing on the bins to be possible. I'm really worried that this could be a possible skin infection somehow passed on? Has anyone else ever dealt with this before?
Re: Scabs/bumps on ball pythons heads
I know, I had looked up other people's experience with this and a lot of it was either nose rubbing or damage from rats. Every time I check in their cage and there never seems to be anything sharp. It's just become such an issue so suddenly that it worries me.

Doesn’t necessarily need to be sharp to cause an abrasion. Pictures would be helpful in identifying the type and severity of injury
