Dropped by.... has been a while.

Hope everyone has had a better year than I have. Really just wanted to stop by and say hi to everyone. In June last year lost my job and moved to Wyoming. That was not a good thing. In December decided to move back to TX. My wife has family there. On the way back we hit some ice and rolled 18 foot trailer and my truck and lost all the animals except our dogs. 23 snakes and 2 sugar gliders. My beloved Rainbow. In January my wife comes down with covid and dies from it. Now I am in OK and working in a hospital again but has been hard with all the loss of this past year. I am not ready to be working yet but no choice. I really hope everyone had a much better year than me.

OMG! I'm so sorry to hear how rough things have been for you this last year. There's almost no words for so much loss & heartache. Welcome back, & I hope things get MUCH MUCH better for you from now on. :please:

Thanks everyone. I think will be a while before I start a new collection and think will keep it to one snake if I do. I need to heal some first and figure out life before doing anything. Just not sure what else to say. Rainbow, Aurora,..... all of them... gone. My beautiful pets and wife also... sigh.

It's heartbreaking, just to think about what all you've been through. I'm pretty sure I'd need some time also, before moving ahead. Healing takes time, & not sure we ever figure out life? ;) But even if you're pet-less, you're welcome here. You're not alone. No one, NO one, gets through life without losses. If only we could.
