    CHE placement
I just got my CHE and set it up. Is this how it is supposed to be, or do I just sit it up on top of the mesh? I didn’t realize how hot they are supposed to get either. Rn it’s at 250° the air under it is warm but the actual bulb is untouchable. I have it set on a dimmer if anyone was wondering. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...124d1b790f.jpg

When I used CHEs I used the wire fixture and placed them on a lamp stand. That left no way for them to touch the lid and I didn't have to move them when I opened the cage.

Ok thanks! I might be able to build that instead of buy one, but does the way I have mine set up work? If so I’ll leave it like that because it is front opening.

Yes, that should work fine. Just make sure it is holding well. Like you have found out a CHE gets HOT. You don't want it falling on anything that can burn.

Yes definitely, I have an iPad stand that I hooked it on to and it works great. Thanks for your help.
